All groups using Fellowship Hall, the kitchen or its facilities must adhere to the following rules and regulations:
1.All church and non-church groups must make arrangements for building usage through the church office. This is done to prevent duplicate scheduling of facilities. Scheduling is done on a first-come, first-serve basis. Arrangements for building access must be made with the church office during normal business hours.
2.Notify the church office if there is any change in meeting time or date.
3.For church sponsored events only, seating and room layout arrangements should be made with the sexton two weeks prior to the meeting. A copy of the Fellowship Hall floor plan is printed on the rear of the Facilities Usage Request Form.
4.For non-member events, it is your responsibility to set up and tear down.
5.Normal operating hours for Fellowship Hall is from 9:00am to 10:00pm unless Council grants an exception.
6.Council has prohibited smoking and the possession of alcoholic beverages or any controlled substances on church property. St. Paul’s is designated as a totally SMOKE FREE facility, which includes the building, parking lot, exterior grounds and sidewalks.
7.The building, rooms and equipment should be left in the same condition as they were found. To achieve this goal, there will be:
• No smoking anywhere on church property
• Absolutely no ball playing or Frisbee throwing
• No roller skating or skateboarding
• No hockey
• No standing or sitting on radiators
• No sitting on windowsills
• No standing or walking on chairs or tables
• Do not attach anything to painted surfaces or ceiling tiles.
8.It is prohibited to ride on or utilize the play equipment located in Fellowship Hall, the stage, storage room or other rooms in the building as this equipment belongs to the Child Care Center and is for their use only.
9.Do not adjust thermostats.
10.Disc Jockeys are not permitted unless by a church sponsored event. Groups utilizing Fellowship Hall may use the sound system. A $100.00 refundable deposit will be required to insure the safe return of the microphone. Arrangements must be made through the church office in order to obtain a key for entry into the amplifier cabinet.
11.All food, spills, etc. should be cleaned up immediately. Brooms, mops and buckets are located in the kitchen. Large dry mops are located in the storage room next to the stage for mopping the entire floor at the end of your function. Because of food problems, such as crumbs, spills on the floor and packages not being sealed tightly enough, it is important to attend to this immediately for safety and sanitation reasons.
12.The garbage must be taken outside and placed in the dumpster at the rear parking lot.
13.The parking lot is available for use while attending functions at St. Paul’s. Please obey the parking signs. Handicap parking spaces are available and will be enforced.
14. Requests for exceptions or changes to the rules must be submitted to Council in writing for their approval.
15.Authorized church representatives shall have full and free access to the premises at all times.
16. The church facilities are to be left in proper order with all doors and windows locked and turn off all lights upon leaving the building. Conserve electricity by turning off lights when rooms are not in use.
17.Keys must be dropped off in the Church office door mail slot immediately following the event. St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and its staff are NOT RESPONSIBLE for any injuries or
loss of property while using any of St. Paul’s facilities during said event.
