A word from your Council President...
On behalf of the members of church council, I want to thank everyone responsible for making this past Christmas celebration a real success. The birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are three of the biggest celebrations in the Christian faith. We celebrate these events with poinsettias, palm branches and Easter lillies. As we have just celebrated the first of three seasons, we take time out to say thank you to all who have volunteered to make the church look beautiful, to glorify God with Christmas carols and the beautiful liturgy and bible readings for the season. The Sunday School Christmas Pageant and choir Christmas Candlelight Concert all helped to round out this wonderful celebration. Finally, this is all followed by the un-decorating of all these beautiful decorations in preparations for Lent and the rest of the church year. PRAISE GOD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW.
2012 will be a year of many challenges. We need every member to take these challenges very seriously and respond with your God given gifts of time, talents and financial resources. We are very serious in the fact that your help is drastically needed. Please talk to your members of council and ask where you can help. IN GOD WE TRUST.
Respectfully,
Robert Bastian, President
